Step 1. Take two cups of indigo powder and half a cup of henna. Add hot water little by little and mix until you get a smooth, lump-free paste.

Step 3. Leave it on for about 45 minutes to achieve a medium brown shade, or up to 2 hours if you prefer a deeper, darker brown.
Step 4. Rinse thoroughly with plain water and follow up with a colour-protective shampoo.
